Homicides in Wisconsin's Largest City Down

The number of homicides in Wisconsin's largest city is down compared to previous years.

Milwaukee Police homicides decreased by sixteen percent in 2006 over 2005. Law enforcement officers said there were 103 homicides last year compared to 122 in 2005 and 88 in 2004.

The 2006 total is below the average number of reportable homicides for the past ten years.
