The daughter of a woman who has brain damage due to carbon monoxide poisoning wants people to know how dangerous the gas is.

Barb Allen, 48, of Springvale, was taken an Appleton hospital after she and two other people got sick from carbon monoxide poisoning last month.
>
Inspectors found carbon monoxide leaking from a disconnected furnace pipe in the home's basement. And now Allen's daughter, Devon Allen, said her mother has brain damage and may never be the same again.

The daughter said her mother is at a Fond Du Lac hospital where she is receiving therapy to try to regain some ability to talk, write, and move her arms and legs.
