A broken pipeline in eastern Clark County leaves an estimated 20,000 gallons of crude oil in a farmer's field.

The spill happened just south of Curtiss along county road N which is about 10 miles west of Abbotsford. Early yesterday morning, the line was automatically shut down due to a loss of pressure. The DNR says it's not worried about the spill contaminating lakes or rivers.

Enbridge employees from all over the nation have been called in to help with the clean up. The farmer who owns the land says the field hasn't been in use, and Enbridge has promised to replace all the contaminated soil.
