The man who's accused of sexually abusing his 13-year-old foster child turned himself in during the weekend.
The 42-year-old Holcombe man is out of jail on a $5,000 signature bond. A criminal complaint shows the 13-year-old boy told investigators the man had been having sexual contact with him for about a year and a half. The boy says the incidents happened at the family's home and at two motels in Turtle Lake. If convicted, the suspect could spend 60 years in prison.
WEAU 13 News is not naming the suspect to protect the identity of the alleged victim.

Prosecutors filed a criminal charge against a man who's accused of sexually assaulting his 13-year-old foster son.
Chippewa County District Attorney Jon Theisen filed the repeated sexual assault of the same child charge against the 42-year-old Holcombe man on Thursday. There is also a warrant for the man's arrest.
A criminal complaint shows the boy telling investigators late last month that the man had been having sexual contact with him for about a year and a half. He goes on to say the incidents happened at the family's home, and at two motels in Turtle Lake.
If convicted, the suspect could spend 60 years in prison.
