Heavy rain doused parts Western Wisconsin in August, leaving behind some flooded areas. Some people in Durand decided to take advantage of the rain and have some fun with the flood water.
Dave Christopherson suited up with his water skis and did some flood skiing. The skiing happened near Highway 85 in Durand on Bob and Paula Komro's land.
Bob Komro is driving the yellow jeep helping Dave glide across the water. Paula Komro says he's skiing on flood water in their alfalfa field.
Durand got 6.5 inches overnight from Thursday to Friday of last week.
