Update: Man turns himself in for growing marijuana
Sergeant Jason Zimmerman, with the La Crosse County Sheriff's Department says 38-year-old Jeffrey Schultz of Holmen was arrested Thursday.

Deputies say they arrested the man who's picture was taken as he apparently tried to get rid of a surveillance camera near a marijuana grow.
Sergeant Jason Zimmerman, with the La Crosse County Sheriff's Department says 38-year-old Jeffrey Schultz of Holmen was arrested Thursday.
Schultz is now out on a signature bond. Sergeant Zimmerman says Schultz came to the sheriff's department on his own. The camera captured this image of Schultz near the plants. Zimmerman says Schultz grew about four of them for personal use. Investigators put the camera in a tree on July 3rd. That was after a neighbor near West Salem found the plants.

Investigators are trying to identify a man who showed his face while apparently trying to get rid of a surveillance camera near a marijuana grow.
La Crosse Area Crime Stoppers says a property owner near West Salem found cultivated pot plants growing on the edge of his field. Investigators put a motion-activated camera high in a tree. Then on July 3rd, they say the suspect came by to care for the plants. Investigators say the man tried to take the camera out of the tree but couldn't.
