A man is dead after his vehicle crashed and landed on railroad tracks
Pierce County Deputies say 47-year old Steven Glaus of Pepin was traveling on Highway 35 near Maiden Rock when his vehicle went into the ditch, down an embankment and landed between two sets of railroad tracks.

A man is dead after his vehicle crashed and landed on railroad tracks Wednesday afternoon.
Pierce County Deputies say 47-year old Steven Glaus of Pepin was traveling on Highway 35 near Maiden Rock around 1:00 p.m. Wednesday afternoon. They say his vehicle went into the ditch, down an embankment and landed between two sets of railroad tracks.
Deputies say Glaus did not collide with any other vehicle or train. Glaus was pronounced dead at the scene.
