The Better Business Bureau wants you to know about a possible pyramid scheme scam. A BBB investigation shows consumers are paying hundreds of dollars in upfront fees to i-Jango, a new self-described multi-level marketing company, for a product that has no track record.

The BBB warns the company tells people they can earn money by recruiting others to do the same. It says that's a red flag for pyramid schemes, which are illegal.

More than 3,400 people nationwide have contacted the BBB to check out the company since the beginning of August. The Better Business Bureau says you should avoid plans that emphasis recruiting others or require you to purchase expensive products. They say you should not pay or sign any contracts on the spur of the moment.
