A local disc jockey who police say punched a man in the face at a wedding he was working at was in court on Friday.
Andrew Pikulski, 32, of Chippewa Falls pleaded not guilty to a substantial battery charge against him. In June, Pikulski was working at a wedding in Eau Claire. That's where prosecutors say he got into an argument with someone at the wedding.
In a written complaint, a brother-in-law of the groom says Pikulski appeared to be drunk. He told investigators he stepped in between the two fighting to separate them. That's when he says Pikulski punched the man in the face.
