Teen Dies from Bacterial Meningitis
A 17-year-old student from Kenosha dies of bacterial meningitis, a bacteria transferred through saliva.

Tremper High School Administrators in Kenosha have alerted parents that a 17-year-old student has died of bacterial meningitis.

Alex Knutter died Saturday at the hospital.
>
The boy's parents and several close friends have been treated with preventative antibiotics. The bacteria are transferred through saliva.
>
Alex died about 12 hours after first complaining of a headache.
