Towing in Tomah
Police in Tomah say they'll start towing Tuesday if people don't move their snowed-in cars.

Effective today's date, February 27, 2007, the Tomah Police Department along with the City of Tomah Public Works Department will begin having vehicles removed from the roadway which have not been moved since the recent snowfall.

The City of Tomah Municipal Ordinance 7.08(5) states that no person shall park or leave standing any vehicle on any street or public way within the City for a period in excess of 24 hours.
>
Vehicles towed may be released immediately upon payment of the towing bill.
