Auction for local housing development postponed

A sheriff's sale for a local development got pushed back on Thursday.
The Chippewa County Sheriff says Wissota Green was supposed to go up for auction this morning, but says the attorney for the development wanted it pushed back. It's now set for October 15th.
The 159 acre development in Chippewa County is part of a housing development by Sienna Corporation near Lake Wissota.
The sheriff's sale requires 10 percent of the highest bid in cash on the day of the sale.
