Two people were pulled from their vehicle using the Jaws of Life Friday night.
The Monroe County Sheriffs Department says they responded to a two car crash on State Highway 21 in the Town of Angelo just after 7:30 Friday night.
Deputies say the crash happened when 61-year-old Thomas Young of Sparta was pulling out of a parking lot onto State Highway 21. As he was pulling onto the highway he hit 31-year-old Brandon Johnson's vehicle.
The sheriffs department says both Johnson, of Sparta and his passenger, 26-year-old Andrea Bailey had to be pulled from their vehicle using the Jaws of Life.
They were taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Young and his passengers were not hurt.
