A man accused of killing a five-month-old girl in Eau Claire last month pleads not guilty in court on Tuesday.
Twenty-four-year-old Eric Arneson is charged with first-degree reckless homicide in the suffocation death of Kaitlyn Rouse.
Arneson was babysitting Kaitlyn and her brother in early February at Kaitlyn's mother's apartment.
Prosecutors say Arneson got so frustrated with Kaitlyn's crying, that he wrapped her body in a blanket and laid her back down and she suffocated.
Arneson remains jailed on a $100,000 cash bond.
