Man convicted of sexually assaulting teen boys to be released
Ray Wimer was convicted of two counts of second degree sexual assault and fourth degree sexual assault in 1989.

A Wisconsin man convicted of sexually assaulting teenage boys is set to be released in October.
Ray Wimer was convicted of two counts of second degree sexual assault and fourth degree sexual assault in 1989.
Ladysmith Police Chief Dean Meyer says Wimer’s victims were a 14 and 16-year-old boy. Meyer says Wimer is being released the week of October 19th and will live at 320 West Eight Street North in Ladysmith.
Wimer will be monitored face-to-face, by G.P.S. and by electronic monitoring. He will not be allowed to leave the house unmonitored, someone will check on him daily. Chief Meyer says he's preparing a brochure and poster to release to the community about Wimer's release.
