After a dry summer in Wisconsin, the U.S Department of Agriculture is labeling 31 counties as primary natural-disaster areas.
Droughts have consumed a lot of counties since March. Now eligible farmers from Chippewa, Dunn, Eau Claire, Rusk, Trempealeau and others you see highlighted can apply for low-interest emergency loans to cover their losses.
Farmers who live in adjoining counties can also apply for a loan.
