The inmate who escaped from Jackson County sheriff's deputies earlier this week is now charged.
24-year-old Jay Iverson of Black River Falls faces a charge of felony bail jumping, obstructing an officer, and escaping.
The criminal complaint says on Wednesday, Iverson was taken from the jail to the Black River Falls Memorial Hospital. It says Iverson was not in restraints and was wearing a hospital gown when he took off running. He was gone for about 24 hours before turning himself in late Thursday night.
Iverson was originally being held in jail on resisting arrest charges and arrest warrants from sexual battery charges in Florida.
