Many in the Chippewa Valley took in the beauty of local artwork this weekend, while soaking in some of the area's natural beauty as well.
The sixth annual Falling Leaves Art Studio Tour had art lovers winding their way through the Osseo, Augusta and Fairchild areas over the weekend.
Studio owners say it gives relatively unknown new artists the chance to get greater exposure in the community.
"It gives them confidence to sell a few pieces and I think it's mostly the talking to people. When you talk to your customers, they want to know how and what it is you've done," says Mel Sundby of Manyfires Art Studio.
Thirteen new artists participated in this year's tour which included a total of 34 artists at 17 stops.
