The FBI wants to warn you about a new internet scam that targets people's Facebook and e-mail accounts.
Agents say someone will steal your account information and then send an email to your friends and family saying you're in some sort of danger, like you're stuck in a foreign country and you need money to get home.
The hacker sends you an innocent-looking email. It's really a virus that lets the crook see everything you type. Then they'll pose as you to steal money from your friends.
Scammers can do the same thing on your Facebook account. Investigators say if you get a message like this call your friend or family member or someone who knows them to make sure its real.
