Man dies after he runs a stop sign and a truck hits him
A man is dead after he ran a stop sign and was hit by another truck. The crash happened just before 11 a.m. in St. Croix County on Wednesday.

A man is dead after he ran a stop sign and was hit by another truck. The crash happened just before 11 a.m. in St. Croix County on Wednesday. Deputies say 55-year-old Larry Scheel of New Richmond ran a stop sign. Then a truck hit him. Scheel's pick-up rolled in the ditch. A medical examiner pronounced him dead at the scene.
A passenger in his car was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the truck has non-life threatening injuries. Deputies say no one was wearing a seatbelt.
