Lakeside Under Investigation From the State

The State Department of Justice is targeting the facility's quality of care on the fourth floor of the North building.

The Justice Department is seeking information regarding the center's care of residents between December 2002 and February of 2004. During that time period a resident died from infected bedsores.

The Justice Department is asking anyone with information about the quality of care to call the department's toll free line at 1-800-488-3780.
