Colfax home destroyed
A house is destroyed after a fire Wednesday evening.

A house is destroyed after a fire Wednesday evening.
It happened at a single-story house on 860th Avenue east of Colfax.
Fire Chief Don Logslett says one of the owners reported the fire around 5 p.m.
When crews got there, he says most of the roof had collapsed.
Logslett says the couple living there got out before firefighters got there.
Nobody was hurt.
The chief says the fire started in the attic of the house.
There's no word on what caused the fire.
