Plover Eyes Big Development

The Village of Plover in central Wisconsin could become a major tourism destination. The village board has give a developer approval to look into building a convention center and water theme park.
The project would cost about 35-million dollars and its theme is described as an aqua-plex. The developer says his company next needs to secure financing and find a location for the construction.
H-2-0 Development spokesman Scott Neale says the resort will attract national and international events and that it will become, in his words, "the Lambeau Field of water skiing."
