Investigators bust another marijuana growing operation in Monroe County.
This time, the Monroe County sheriff says the suspect was growing pot and hiding it in a corn field. Officers arrested 40-year-old John Kowitz from Norwalk. He's charged with a felony count of manufacturing pot.
Deputies say they searched the property off County Highway XX last week and found the plants and drying locations in a corn field. Kowitz is expected back in court next week.
As we told you last week, deputies arrested two men after officers found 1,600 pot plants.
