Police Searching for Armed Robbery Suspect
At about 8:30 p.m. Monday night the Eau Claire Police were sent to Wash & Save Laundromat at 2713 Birch Street on a report of an armed robbery.
A lone suspect entered the store and approached the female attendant demanding money. The suspect is a white male described as 5'6" to 5'8" tall, slim build, wearing a black stocking cap, a gray hooded sweatshirt, gray sweat pants and black tennis shoes.
He also had a backpack, which he used to carry the money out of the store. The police ask that anyone with information call the department at 839-4982.
