Twenty-four-year-old Eric Arneson is charged with first-degree reckless homicide in the suffocation death of 5-month-old Kaitlyn Rouse.
Arneson was babysitting Kaitlyn and her brother on Feb. 6 at Kaitlyn's mother's apartment. Prosecutors say Arneson got so frustrated with Kaitlyn's crying, that he wrapped her body in a blanket and laid her back down in her crib.
She then suffocated. At Tuesday's preliminary hearing, Judge William Gabler bound Arneson over for trial. Arneson remains jailed on a $100,000 cash bond.
