Job Market

People on the hunt for a new or better job will have a good chance of finding employment according to the most recent Manpower survey.

Twenty-seven-percent of Chippewa Valley area employers they surveyed say they expect to hire at a steady pace from April to June.

Manpower says this is a significant increase in employment because at this time last year only three-percent of surveyed companies in the area had plans to increase their staff size.

Manpower says Wisconsin is seeing improved employment throughout the state.

With 21 regions, the Chippewa Valley is in the middle of the pack.

Nationally, the company says this is the strongest job outlook since the first part of 2001.
