Deputies say a woman was injured after she tried to control her kids and ended up hitting a bridge. Monroe County Sheriff Dennis Pedersen says the crash happened around 2:30 Wednesday afternoon.
Pedersen says 28-year-old Cora Loendorf was driving on Cty. Hwy. A south of Camp Douglas. He says she told deputies her kids were acting-up in the back seat.
Pedersen says she told deputies that she turned to tell them to stop their behavior. That's when her vehicle went onto the shoulder.
Loendorf tells WEAU 13 News that she never turned around to talk to her children. She says she glanced in the rear view mirror, and that's when she hit the gravel shoulder and lost control hitting the bridge.
