Pieces of collapsed I-35W bridge returned to Minnesota
The twisted pieces just returned from Washington, where they were part of the National Transportation Safety Board's investigation.

Pieces of steel from the collapsed 35-W bridge have returned to Minnesota.
The DOT is storing the steel in a new 5,000 square-foot warehouse it built in Oakdale, about 15 miles east of Minneapolis.
The twisted pieces just returned from Washington, where they were part of the National Transportation Safety Board's investigation into the bridge collapse. Larger pieces are being stored outside near the river.
The DOT is required to keep the pieces until all of the lawsuits over the collapse are settled.
