Deputies are investigating another bank robbery, this time in Vernon County.
The Sheriff's Department says someone robbed the River Bank in Stoddard Friday. Deputies say the suspect handed a note to the teller demanding 20's, 50's and 100's. They say he got away with about $5,000. He did not show a weapon. The suspect is described as a tall, white man between the ages of 25-30.
On Wednesday, Bremer Bank in Elk Mound was also robbed and earlier this month, there were two bank robberies, one at Security Bank in Ridgeland and one at Alliance Bank on Mall Drive in Eau Claire.
