Farmer Charged
Mistreatment of animal charges have been filed in Chippewa County against a rural Stanley man in connection with the death of forty cattle last month.
26-year-old Travis Schuebel was charged this week with ten felony counts of animal neglect and abuse.
Investigators received a tip directing them to the property that contained dead cattle.
Sheriff's officials say Schuebel lost interest in farming and did not make arrangements for the care of the animals.
Schuebel is scheduled to appear in court on April 20th.
