Arrests Made In Copper and Aluminum Thefts

Polk Counties Deputies say they've made some arrests in a string of copper and aluminum thefts.

Investigators say two men were stealing scrap aluminum and copper from businesses in the Dresser area.

Jonathan Allen Kuntz, 22, is facing felony theft charges and receiving stolen property charges.

Deputies say the suspects had $3,000 worth of stolen scrap aluminum and copper in their truck bed.

Deputies also arrested Richard David Madsen, 20, but there are no charges filed for him yet.

Investigators say the two hit a Dresser Machine Shop and possibly the Custom Fire Apparatus Company in Osceola.
