Man with weapon refused to leave home
The Barron County Emergency Response team was called to a home northeast of Rice Lake.

Deputies were called to a home this morning after a man with a weapon refused to leave his house.
The Barron County Emergency Response team was called to a home northeast of Rice Lake. A Rice Lake police sergeant negotiated with 29-year-old Will Chandler for two hours before he came out of his house. Chandler was taken into custody.
The case will be sent to the D.A.’s office for possible charges.
