A number of residence halls at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire will welcome trick-or-treaters who are elementary-school age or younger from 5-7 p.m. on Oct. 31.

In some campus halls - Bridgman, Sutherland, Oak Ridge, Governors, Chancellors, Putnam and Towers Halls - trick-or-treaters can go door-to-door throughout the buildings. Participating rooms will be marked with an orange decoration, indicating that trick-or-treaters are welcome. Trick-or-treating will be limited to the first and second floors of Governors Hall.

Sutherland Hall also will offer a haunted house from 3-7 p.m. that is free for community children.

Parking will be available in any of the R and F spaces on upper campus and the S spaces on lower campus.

**Coulee Region Humane Society to Hold Sixth Annual Haunted Kennels

For the sixth consecutive year the dog adoption kennels will once again be transformed into a spooky kennel version of a typical haunted house. Ghosts, goblins, fog and even a creepy cemetery all add to the ambience of this unique Coulee Region Humane Society annual event.

The cat adoption room will also be decorated for visitors. However, the cats are not as fond of goblins and ghosts, so they will be surrounded by fall themes including pumpkins, leaves, and other fun décor.

Lots of free candy for all who dare to come!
