A couple of Eau Claire businesses will be moving, helping the downtown area in its revitalization efforts.
The Eau Claire Chamber of Commerce and the Economic Development Corporation announced their plans this morning.
The groups announced the construction of a new facility at the site of the old Greyhound bus depot between Dewey and Farwell Streets.
The agreement will include a ten-year lease with an option to get out of the lease after five years.
The groups will lease the building they're currently in, near Target and Kohl's, on a month-to-month basis.
The agreement with the Chippewa Valley Home Builders Association also allows for moving costs if the groups are pushed out of the building before they're able to move to the downtown area.
