Eau Claire Police Officer Charged with Domestic Abuse
A Veteran Eau Claire Police Officer is in trouble with the law charged with three counts of domestic abuse and has been suspended with pay.

A Veteran Eau Claire Police Officer is in trouble with the law charged with three counts of domestic abuse and has been suspended with pay.

35 years-old Xiong K. Lee is charged with felony intimidation of a victim, misdemeanor battery, and disorderly conduct.

According to the criminal complaint, Xiong and his wife, Zoua Yang were arguing because Xiong was on the phone with his girlfriend. Yang grabbed the phone and it broke.

Prosecutors then say Xiong slapped his wife across the face .

Court documents say yang told officers she was fearful of Xiong, because he threatened to kill her, the children, and then himself if she told police about the incident.

Xiong was released Monday on a $5,000 signature bond.
