People in Eau Claire County will now be able to get rid of old medication, any time of the year.
You can now drop off expired and unused prescription and over the counter medications at four sites. Those sites include the sheriff's department at the courthouse, the Altoona emergency services building, the Augusta city hall and the Fall Creek village hall.
The county says the move is designed to prevent abuse of prescription medication, and improve water quality.
