The construction funding bills passed by the Minnesota House and Senate don't include any money for a plan to fix up the century old State Capitol Building.

The Senate adopted its 306 million dollar slate of projects Wednesday. The House approved a slightly smaller list Wednesday night. Both plans focus heavily on building repairs at college campuses, transit expansions, bridge upgrades and civic center renovations.

Planners had hoped to begin work next fall on the 260 million dollar capitol project and complete it by 2014.
