Midwest Refinery Fire

A fire at the region's largest oil refinery isn't expected to have a major impact on gasoline prices.

The fire temporarily shut down some production at the Pine Bend
Refinery at Rosemount, Minnesota located just outside the Twin Cities Metropolitan area. The fire was extinguished in three hours, and no one was injured.

The refinery is a major supplier of gasoline to the Twin Cities and the surrounding area including Eau Claire.
