Search for Missing UW-Madison Woman

Police and searchers Tuesday tramped through a large wooded section south of the University of Wisconsin campus looking for sophomore student Audrey Seiler. Police are seeking clues in her disappearence since Saturday, when she was last seen leaving a student apartment building on Regent Street in Madison.

Madison police say they're trying to determine whether the 20-year-old woman's disappearence was related to an attack that left her unconscious.

A surveillance video tape from her apartment building shows her leaving early Saturday morning without a coat or purse, and her apartment door was left open. A friend says Seiler was suppose to meet her and another friend Saturday afternoon but never did. This resulted in a call to police. Ms. Seiler's hometown is Rockford, Minnesota located north of the Twin Cities.
