Truck crashes into the back of a store; one side of town loses power
Early this morning a semi truck crashed into a grocery store. It also hit a power line, causing the east side of New Lisbon to lose power.

Early this morning a semi truck crashed into a grocery store. It also hit a power line, causing the east side of New Lisbon to lose power.
The New Lisbon Police Department says just before 1:30 Saturday morning an Elite Carriers Semi drove off Highway 80 and into the back of Barnes Family Foods in the city of New Lisbon, north of Mauston.
Police say the semi truck hit a power pole causing the east side of the city to lose power. The Juneau County Sheriffs Department says police were still working on removing the truck from the store Saturday afternoon.
Deputies also say the truck driver was taken to a Mauston hospital after Saturday mornings crash. The crash is still under investigation.
