La Crosse Missing Student Vigil
There will be a vigil Wednesday night for a missing 21-year-old University of La Crosse student.
Jared Dion, from Pewaukee, was last seen early Saturday morning after going out to taverns in Downtown La Crosse. About 35 to 40 of his family members and friends are distributing more than 3,000 flyers and making 400 buttons. Flyers have been placed in waysides and businesses off highways between La Crosse and the Twin Cities, Milwaukee and Eau Claire.
Police say there's no evidence of foul play at this time. The vigil will be at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday on campus.
