Members of a national honor society at UW-Stout were so touched by the story of a single mom, they started a year-long fundraiser and donated blankets for babies in need.

UW-Stout's chapter of Phi Upsilon Omicron gave more than thirty blankets and the proceeds from a baby infant formula fund to the Interfaith Food Pantry of Dunn county. The group's president says they were inspired by the story of a single mother who, after losing her job, needed the support of the food pantry to feed her child.

The year-long project's funds were raised through donations from local businesses and Chapter Alumni donated the fleece for the blankets.
