A Wisconsin man will spend decades behind bars for sexually assaulting a 17-month-old girl.
In august, 26-year-old Jeremy M. Lund of Wisconsin Rapids pleaded guilty to first-degree sexual assault and physical abuse of a child, both as a repeat offender.
The criminal complaint says Lund told investigators he "blacked out" and didn't remember what happened to the girl when he was with her in January.
The complaint says the parents returned home and found their daughter alone in her crib, hurt.
Monday, a Wood County Judge sentenced Lund to 40 years in prison and 20 years of extended supervision.
