The La Crosse Police Department will be holding a town hall meeting Thursday at Central High School in La Crosse to address rumors and speculation of recent river drownings.
Over the past seven years, seven men have drowned in the Mississippi river. Police say there's no foul play, and all the men were intoxicated.
The latest victim was 21-year-old Jared Dion, whose body was found in the river on Thursday.
Police have scheduled the meeting for 7 p.m. on Thursday in the auditorium.
