The man suspected of hitting a boy on his bike and then leaving the scene is charged.
34-year-old Brian D. Martin of Black River Falls is charged with hit and run involving injury and second degree reckless endangerment.
The criminal complaint says in October, Martin was looking in the backseat of his car and talking to someone when he hit a boy riding his bike. It says the boy flew up onto the windshield and then back onto the ground. Witnesses say the people in the car left the scene.
Passengers in the car told police Martin was driving fast when the incident happened.
