A rural Arcadia man is dead after he fell off a silo.
The Buffalo County Sheriff says it happened just before 11 a.m. Wednesday on a farm in the Town of Glencoe.
Sheriff Mike Schmidtknecht says 55-year-old Daniel Kamla was checking to see how full the 80-foot-tall silo was.
He says no one saw the fall, but a farm worker found Kamla at the base of the silo just minutes after seeing Kamla at the top of the silo.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
