Fight on Water Street Wednesday

Early Wednesday morning, the Eau Claire Police were called to a parking lot at 5th Ave and Water St. on a report of a fight in progress.

Witnesses reported seeing 24 year-old Edward C. Decorah, from Wisconsin, point an assault rifle at others in the area. A Chinese SKS, an AK-47 type assault rifle, with a folding stock and a bayonet was found in the trunk of Decorah's vehicle. He was arrest for Endangering Safety by Reckless Use of a Weapon, Felon in Possession of a Firearm, and Disorderly Conduct.

Twenty-five-year-old Gabriel D. Cleveland, from Kansas, was with Decorah and was also arrested. Cleveland was arrested for Disorderly Conduct and a warrant from Columbia County. The charges on the warrant are for Carrying a Concealed Weapon, Disorderly Conduct, and Bail Jumpin.
