Last month was safest on record for Wisconsin roads
40 people were killed in 38 traffic crashes in October. That ties the record low set back in October of 1944.

Last month was one of the safest months on record on Wisconsin roads.
40 people were killed in 38 traffic crashes in October. That ties the record low set back in October of 1944. The state starting keeping a record of its monthly traffic death figures in 1937.
As of the end of October 447 people died in more than 400 traffic crashes in Wisconsin. More than 80 of those involved motorcycles and 30 pedestrians were killed.
