La Crosse police are searching for two suspects who robbed two businesses.
Officers say a man walked into The Bead Shoppe on 19th Street and demanded money. When the clerk couldn't open the cash register, the man took the register and left the business.
About five hours later, two men showed a handgun and demanded money at jabber jaws bar on Avon Street. The bartender refused to give them any money, and they left.
Both suspects are described as about 18 to 25 years old, wearing all black with black ski masks.
